Prevention and control of diseases in summer 2022 focused on

Department of Health has just requested the Health Centers of districts, towns and cities to advise the district authorities to closely coordinate with the health sector to drastically and synchronously deploy effective prevention and control solutions for outbreaks of hand, foot, and mouth diseases, measles, influenza, rotavirus diarrhea, dengue fever, encephalitis and other summer epidemics.

Currently, the provincial health sector and localities have strengthened communication and education on health, launched a campaign on environmental sanitation, washing hands with soap, and encouraged people to take their children to be vaccinated on schedule and with enough vaccination shots. The health sector together with the education and training sector widely propagates in schools and kindergartens about measures to prevent and control COVID-19 epidemic in schools. Schools and students' parents proactively detect cases of disease at educational institutions early to immediately notify local health authorities to organize examination, treatment and timely handling of outbreaks.

In treatment and collection, the health sector will organize better to minimize deaths and prevent cross-infection among diseases. The department prepares enough funds to meet the demand for drugs, vaccines, biological products, supplies, chemicals and equipment for epidemic prevention and control activities. In addition, the health sector organizes training and updates on knowledge on surveillance, disease detection and treatment at all levels, organize interdisciplinary inspection teams, support localities to solve difficulties and problems in summer epidemic prevention and control.
