Price of car rental services increases sharply

At the beginning of every lunar new year, the demand for self-driving car rental services and car rental with drivers always increases, causing many service providers to fall out of stock and service prices to increase. According to many car rental service providers, despite the difficult economic situation and escalating prices, there are still a large number of customers that have demands. Accordingly, although the rental price has increased nearly double compared to normal days, this service segment is fully booked from the beginning of Tet until the end of the first lunar month, with increasing prices.

Currently, the rental price for self-driving cars with 4-7 seats ranges from 800,000 - 1 million VND/day; Renting a car with a driver, 4 - 7-seater cars, costs around 2 - 3 million VND/day, depending on the type of car. In addition, this year, customers tend to rent a car with a driver for one-way travel to save costs. However, if you do not make an appointment in advance, when you want to return, there will be no driver or car. Since then, the price has increased, at least twice the normal price. Currently, Green SM taxi company is also offering a VinFast electric car rental package with car models VF e34, VF 5 Plus, VF 8 and VF 9 with starting prices from 12 - 35 million VND for 10 days.
