Price stabilization program for products in new academic year starts early

Province-based units participating in the price stabilization program for products in the new academic year have so far fulfilled their preparatory work and begun starting the program. This move will help parents and their children to early get access to products for the new academi year with prices that are lower than market prices.

Despite preferential loans shrunk, enterprises in the field of trading products to serve educational sector have taken initiative in stockpiling goods and distributing them with stabilized prices.  

The price stabilization program for products in the new academic year contributes to lessening parents’ financial pressure

Since early April, Binh Minh bookstore has arranged a section for buying products for the new academic year with stabilized prices at its entrance. Commodities at the section are displayed orderly and easily for selection with a wide range of Fahasa’s products, including sets of notebooks, namely Vui den truong (Joyful when going to school), Doi ban (Two friends), Hoa bon mua (Flowers in four seasons)…with the selling prices of between VND4,000 and VND7,000 per notebook…

According to representative of Binh Duong-based Fahasa, Fahasa’s price stabilization program for products in the new academic year bears a profound significance to the society. Thanks to good preparation, Fahasa has still stabilized prices for its key products. Fahasa’s products under the price stabilization in this new academic year will be offered 5%-10% discounts.

Along with its pavilion at Binh Minh bookstore, Fahasa has implemented the price stabilization program at some outlets at Thuan An town-based Lai Thieu bookstore, book publishing centers and agents under Fahasa across the province.

Binh Duong bookstore under Binh Duong General Cultural Joint Stock Company has also had good preparation with the amount of commodities under the stabilization price program increasing by 30% compared to the previous year. Nguyen Hong Tham, head of Binh Duong bookstore said that his bookstore has so far prepared commodities under the price stabilization program for the new academic year.

The bookstore has also planned to delivery its discount coupons at province-based primary schools while organizing its mobile sale programs with stabilized prices in August ahead. “This is a chance for us to get access to customers and bring them substantial benefits, especially those with low income in the northern districts of the province”, said Mrs.Tham.

In general, province-based enterprises have till now had thoughtful preparation for commodities for the 2013-2014 new academic year with selling prices than are 15% lower than market prices. The price stabilization program has been started earlier than the previous year. Under the program, many products have been displayed at some outlets with high quality brand names such as Miti, Mr.Vui, Thien Long, Hong Ha, Phuong Nam, A Chau…

It is known that province-based supermarket chains, namely Co.opmart Binh Duong, TDM, Vinatexmart, Big C, Metro…, will also implement the price stabilization program for products in the new academic year.
