Prices of fresh flower and fruit on the rise

According to some small traders at Thu Dau Mot town market, the quantity of fresh and fruit at the market is very abundant to meet customers’ demand on offering on the occasion of the 15th day of first lunar month. Therefore, prices of fruit remain high compared to ordinary days.

On Feb. 16, retail price of Thai mandarin was at VND40,000 per kg, grape at VND160,000/kg, Thai mango at VND45,000/kg, apple and orange imported from the US at VND65,000-75,000/kg. Especially, longan was at VND80,000/kg (the highest price compared to other fruits).

Meanwhile, white and red lily was at VND55,000 per bouquet and daisy at VND36,000 per bouquet.
