Private medical, pharmaceutical establishments violating practice regulations punished

Source from Thu Dau Mot city’s Steering Committee for Anti-smuggling, Counterfeit Goods and Trade Fraud (Steering Committee 389) said that the city’s inter-sectorial inspection delegation in the first 6 months of 2022 carried out an inspection tour of 16 local private medical and pharmaceutical establishments and detected them with administrative violations in the health sector. The city’s functional sector decided to penalize 4 establishments with a total fine of VND30.5 million; proposed to close 6 establishments; asked for 4 establishments to write commitments and reminded 2 others.

Currently, members of the city’s Steering Committee 389 continues carrying out its plan on inter-sectoral inspection for the fields of medicine and pharmaceutical practice, dietary supplements, equipment and cosmetics, contributing to effectively protecting consumers’health, rights and interests.
