Early April 7, provincial Steering Board for Voluntary Blood Donation, in collaboration with Binh Duong University, held a program to disseminate, mobilize and receive blood given by donors in response to Voluntary Blood Donation Day (April 7).

 

Thank to having good dissemination, the whole province last year mobilized donors to give 6,873 units of blood, getting 106% of the projection. In 2010, the province is expected to mobilize donors to give 6,840 units of blood, up 380 units of blood compared to last year. In addition to mass organizations’ members, Youth Union members, armed forces…, workers and religious organizations in the province have actively got involved in voluntary blood donation.

 

On this occasion, 271 officials, teachers and students from Binh Duong University also voluntarily donated their blood.
