On the afternoon of June 22, Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee, chaired an online conference to deploy the 3rd and 4th shot Covid-19 vaccination plan for adults and children in the province.
According to a report by provincial Department of Health, the province’s situation of Covid-19 pandemic in the first 6 months of 2022 decreased sharply in all 3 criteria (cases, hospitalizations, deaths). The whole province now has no more Covid-19 patients who need to be treated at hospitals. Assessing the pandemic level in the past several weeks, the province had all 91 communes, wards and townships at level 1 of pandemic risk (new normal). Over the past time, vaccines against Covid-19 proved their effectiveness in reducing the risk of infection and death caused by Covid-19. However, at present, people no longer pay attention to vaccination against Covid-19 so the number of vaccines in stock in localities is still great. The whole province still has more than 214,400 doses of vaccines of all kinds (Pfizer, Moderna and Verocell).
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Ha requested units and localities in the next 3 days to focus on completely injecting the remaining vaccines for targeted groups: Party members, civil servants and public employees, armed forces and workers in the province. He emphasized that units, sectors and localities need to uphold the exemplary and vanguard role of Party members, cadres, civil servants, and armed forces in this vaccination campaign. Heads of agencies and units must take responsibility if Party members, officials, public employees and armed forces do not receive the Covid-19 vaccination.
