The district also paid attention to perfecting its steering board of collective economic development. So far, all 11 communes and Dau Tieng township of the district have set up steering boards of this field.
Thanks to the steering boards working effectively, the district’s collective economy has reached good changes. Since early this year, the district has developed additional two cooperative groups and one cooperative, bringing the total number of cooperative groups and cooperatives here so far to 14 and 13, respectively. Most of them have made important changes to more effectively work and generate jobs for rural laborers.
According to Nguyen Phuong Linh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of Dau Tieng district’s Party Committee, the district boosted a task of propagandizing and mobilizing locals to get involved in the local collective economy over the past time. But, there was little attention from them, so the district’s collective economy has not been corresponding to the local potential yet.
For development
Dau Tieng district will further reinforce and create favorable conditions for the local cooperatives to work effectively. Particularly, the district will guide the establishment of Minh Thanh transportation cooperative, Minh Thanh ornamental plant cooperative group, the conversion of cultivation, animal husbandry cooperative groups to cooperatives as stipulated; reach the annual growth of 5% and 12% in the number of new cooperative groups and cooperatives, respectively.
The district will also continue perfecting steering boards of collective economic development at commune and township levels, contributing to promoting the local collective economy. In the 2016-2020 period, each commune here will have at least one cooperative and two to three cooperative groups with effective operating to meet criteria of a new-style rural commune. The district will further update new policies on collective economy while accelerating dissemination of information about them among locals.
However, according to some functional agencies, the district’s collective economic sector needs to have a propulsive force from the mechanism of authorities at all levels of the province for better evolution. Particularly, the sector needs to get support on loan and consumption market for sustainable development…
Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee said that the province will further provide the district’s collective economic sector with support policies towards sustainable development, contributing to the common success to the province’s task of collective economic improvement and development.
