Province absorbs nearly US$1.5 billion in FDI capital

Despite facing many difficulties, due to Covid-19, the province still attracted additional US$33.9 million in FDI capital from August 1 to 15. Particularly, there were 5 newly-licensed projects with total registered capital of US$ 32.9 million and 2 capital increasing projects with US$0.7 million, 6 projects for capital contribution and share purchase with total registered capital increasing by US$0.3 million.

Thus, as of August 15, the province lured over US$ 1.49 trillion in FDI capital, including US$ 476.6 million from  42 newly-registered projects, US$792.9 million from 21 capital raising projects and US$223.9 million from projects with capital contribution and share purchase.
