In particular, Binh Duong identifies sustainable industrial development as one of the important prerequisites for the development of the province. Currently, the province is planning to transform traditional industrial parks into smart - eco-industrial parks. Namely, at least 20% of enterprises in industrial zones must apply solutions for efficient use of resources and clean production; reserve at least 25% of the industrial park area for trees, traffic, and shared service infrastructure; have solutions to ensure housing and social, cultural and sports facilities for employees...

In order to build and develop the new generation of industrial zones, create natural space for development, ensure green growth, Binh Duong has renovated and upgraded old industrial zones and clusters, relocated labor-intensive enterprises in the area of Di An city, Thuan An city, Tan Uyen city to the north of the province. Besides, the province redevelops existing industrial land areas into urban service, public service and green transformation functions.
