Since early 2012, Binh Duong has spent VND167.47bln on offering help to the poor. Also upon this, as of Dec. 2012, the whole province only had 3,600 poor households, or 1.42% of total.

Thus, as of late 2012, Binh Duong has basically escaped poverty under the province’s poverty line in the 2011 and 2015 period.
