Early January 14, provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Tran Thanh Liem presided over a meeting reviewing the province’s law dissemination in 2013 and implementing 2014’s plan for this task. Attending the meeting were members of the Combined Councils of Law Dissemination at all levels; leaders of departments, sectors and State-owned enterprises in the province.

The province last year saw a positive change in law dissemination. Sectors and agencies paid more attention to law dissemination and saw it as a main task. In comparison to 2012, the number of economic violations, strikes and traffic accidents reduced by 45, 138 and 763, respectively…

In 2014, the province will further speed up law dissemination and see it as a main task for sectors and agencies, aiming to disseminate the Constitution 2013 and new laws that take effect from January 2014. The province will also maintain periodic training programs on legal knowledge for those who are in charge of law dissemination; diversify propaganda activities to meet the local people’s demand for learning about the law.
