Province holds get-together for religious dignitaries, prestigious people of ethnic minority groups on Tet

On the afternoon of January 21, provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee held a get-together for religious dignitaries, and influential people of ethnic minority groups at provincial Convention and Exhibition Center on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2022, aiming to encourage and share the good and warm sentiments of the great national unity bloc.

The event was attended by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People's Council, leaders of departments and sectors, representatives of religious dignitaries, ethnic minorities living in the province.

In 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic seriously affected people's lives, health and all socio-economic aspects of the province. However, with the drastic direction and leadership of provincial Party Committee, government plus the solidarity, consensus and high determination of the whole political system, business community and people from all strata, including significant contributions by ethnic minorities, religious organizations, so far, the province has basically controlled the pandemic, returned to the "new normal" state with production and business activities under rapid recovery…

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Thao acknowledged and spoke highly of positive contributions by religious dignitaries and ethnic minorities to the local common development, especially during the last Covid-19 pandemic. He suggested that the local religious dignitaries, prestigious people of ethnic minorities will continue upholding the tradition of great national unity, mobilize people in their religious and ethnic groups to actively work, study and participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the State and the Fatherland Front; join hands in building up a more and more prosperous Binh Duong while wishing them a peaceful, happy and successful new year.
