Province implements tasks and estimate budget for purchasing assets and equipment

The Provincial People's Committee has directed the implementation of Resolution No. 19/2024/NQ-HDND, dated December 10, 2024, from the Provincial People's Council regarding regulations on the authority to approve tasks and budget estimates for purchasing assets and equipment; regulations on decentralization of authority to approve tasks and budget estimates for renovating, upgrading, expanding, and constructing new construction items in projects that have been invested, set up, and used regular expenditures from the State budget of agencies and units under the management of the province.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units based on the content of Resolution No. 19/2024/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council to organize the implementation.

The subjects of application are State agencies, political organizations and socio-political organizations; public service units; other organizations and individuals related to the use of regular State budget expenditures to purchase assets and equipment; renovate, upgrade, expand, and construct new construction items in invested construction projects (collectively referred to as agencies and units).

Province-level agencies and units decide and approve tasks and budget estimates for purchasing assets and equipment at their agencies and units and agencies and units under their management (including public service units under branches and equivalent units under departments) using province-level budget sources (including targeted additional sources from higher-level budgets).

The Provincial People's Committee decides and approves the tasks and budget estimates for the implementation of renovation, upgrading, expansion, and construction of new construction items in invested construction projects for political organizations, socio-political organizations, public service units, and other organizations and individuals under the management and use of provincial budget sources (including targeted additional sources from higher-level budgets) ...
