Province produces and exports 7 million pairs of shoes

 Since the start of this year, local footwear companies have produced as many as 7 million pairs of shoes and reached an export value of US$615mil, a 7.9 increase from the same period last year and winning 75% of yearly plan.

Their main export markets include the EU, US, Asia, China, Japan… Overall, the companies’ trade promotion and footwear export enjoy many advantages, thanks to EU’s abrogation on anti-dumping tax on made-in-Việt Nam leather shoes. Expectedly, the footwear industry’s export revenue in this year will reach US$800mil.
