Province reviews 12 year-implementation of national crime prevention programm

 Provincial People’s Committee yesterday held a conference to sum up the 12-year implementation of the national program on crime prevention.

 

Under the program, the province’s crime prevention was effectively realized over the past 12 years. Particularly, the local functional agencies discovered 11,192 wrong cases regarding social order, seized 9,934 wrongdoers; detected 2,948 economic violation cases; seized 1,380 cases and 3,117 crimes relating to drug; razed 337 places for prostitutes and 813 places for gambling…

 

During the time, many new models were also established across the province. So far, 89 out of 91 communes, wards and township have developed anti-crime clubs with 5,105 members, 163 clubs for female lodgers, 91 clubs for lodging youths…, contributing to the local crime prevention.
