A central intersectoral inspection delegation, led by Deputy Head of the MOIT Market Control Department Do Thanh Lam, had a meeting to hear the report on the result of the implementation of “the 2013 Action Month for Food Quality, Hygiene and Safety” in the province.

The delegation made inspection tours of 880 food processing and trading facilities during the action month, 76.02% of which well realized regulations on food safety and hygiene.

On the behalf of the delegation, Mr.Lam spoke highly appreciated the province’s efforts in taking measures to ensure food safety and hygiene, especially during the action month.

Prior to that, early May 6, the delegation in collaboration with the province’s intersectoral delegation made an inspection tour of Tribeco Binh Duong Co.Ltd in Thuan An town-based Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park and Perfetti Van Melle VN in Di An town-based Song Than 2 Industrial Park. The inspection result showed that the two companies well obeyed regulations on food safety and hygiene over the past time.
