So far, Binh Duong has basically completed its program on urban development in the period of 2011 and 2015. The province has also basically become an economic hub of the southern key economic zone.
In 2014, Binh Duong ranked third among the country’s top eight provinces and cities in industrial manufacture and FDI attraction growth. TDM city has also basically met standards of a first-class city and it together with other cities Vung Tau, Bien Hoa and My Tho has played a role as development poles in the urban system of the southern economic zone.
