Province turns off lights in response to Earth Hour Campaign 2019

Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, Binh Duong Electricity Company coordinated with provincial Youth Union to organize a program in response to the Earth Hour Campaign 2019 in the central area of TDM city at 20:30 p.m on March 30.

The program absorbed thousands of young people and locals. Accordingly, lights in the central area of the city and at many households were turned off for one hour from 20:30 p.m to 21:30 p.m after delegates pressed the button to lighten a symbol of the 60-minute Earth Hour.

The event also aims to propagandize and raise public awareness in efficient energy use and power saving, contributing to restricting effects causing environmental pollution and climate change.
