Province welcomes 120,000 international tourists

In the first half of 2016, the province greeted 2.6 million tourists (including 120,000 from abroad), up 30% compared to the same period last year or 59.2% of the year’s plan. The sector’s total revenue reached VND700billion, up 9.3% against the same period last year or 58.3% of the year’s plan.

The province as of late June developed additional 63 hotels, motels with 887 rooms and total registered capital of VND79.55billion and 2 travel units. Thus, the province has so for had a total of 520 accommodation facilities for tourists and 28 travel units.
