Provincial Businesswomen Association spends over VND1bln on social charity activities

In 2013, provincial Businesswomen Association actively got involved in social charity activities, including supporting the poor, building houses of compassion, assisting poor-but-excellent pupils, building bridges, providing free medical check-ups for the poor… 

Provincial Businesswomen Association spent VND1.07bln on social charity activities, which was reported at a recent meeting reviewing the association’s activities in 2013. Particularly, the association supported eye surgery for 50 poor patients, built 10 houses of compassion, donated VND200mln to poor-but-excellent pupils across the province, built 4 bridges for localities in the Mekong Delta region, teamed up with Hoi Khanh pagoda to regularly provide free medical check-ups and treatment for the poor…

Also at the meeting, members of provincial Businesswomen Association raised more than VND1bln for social charity activities in 2014.
