Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union holds conference to review 2024’s activities
On the afternoon of January 9, provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union held a conference to review its activities in 2024 and implement tasks for 2025.
In 2024, provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union closely followed the direction of provincial Labor Union, instructing trade union locals along with local authorities to focus on caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of officials, civil servants and public employees as well as monitoring the implementation of policies and regimes for them. The Trade Union also actively contributed to the work of building the Party and strengthening the organization of the Trade Union.
Over the past year, trade union locals coordinated with relevant units to visit and present gifts to retired officials and policy beneficiary families with a total amount of over VND 500 million; gave gifts and red envelopes for trade unionists, totaling over VND 495 million; organized birthdays for 5,481 trade unionists with a total amount of over VND 548 million.
Last year, trade union locals recommended 194 outstanding trade unionists to the Party, resulting in the admission of 66 individuals to the Party, achieving 120%. Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union also collected 6,105 notebooks, old books and study materials, along with VND 65.5 million in cash and awarded scholarships under the "Make dreams come true" program to 96 good and excellent students with difficult circumstances as well as presenting "Books of Love" to 53 children, with a total amount of VND 53 million.
At the conference, 1 collective and 2 individuals were awarded the certificates of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 8 collectives and 8 individuals received the certificates of merit from provincial Labor Union; provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union recognized 41 collectives and 263 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for excellent labor performance and building of a strong trade union organization in 2024.
