Early January 19, provincial People's Council’s Commission for Economic – Budgetary Affairs had a working session with provincial Department of Industry-Trade and Market Management Department on the implementation of the price stabilization program and the plan on market management work during the Tet ( Lunar New Year) festival 2022.
According to a report by provincial Market Management Department, the unit has implemented management work on ensuring food safety during the Tet festival 2022; advised the Steering Committee 389 on setting up a plan on the peak of fighting against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods before, during and after the Tet festival, in association with the implementation of the Plan 6149 on stabilizing the market of essential goods during the Tet festival and coping with the pandemic in the "new normal" period.
Whilst, the province’s industry and trade sector has conducted a survey on traditional markets and supermarkets, thereby capturing the local situation of goods supply, storage capacity...; deliver goods to people in remote areas in the province. Currently, the two units are closely coordinating with functional agencies to strengthen inspection and control of the market in order to effectively implement market stabilization as well as well performing inspection over food hygiene and safety at traditional markets and supermarkets in the province.
Speaking at the working session, Mrs. Tran Thi Minh Hanh highly appreciated the two units’ implementation of the market stabilization and management program of the two units.
