On July 20, a provincial delegation led by Nguyen Minh Thuy, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Organization Committee, visited and presented gifts to some policy families in Dau Tieng District on occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2022). Joining the delegation were leaders of some departments and branches of the province, leaders of Dau Tieng District.
The delegation visits and presents gifts to Nguyen Van Ut, a wounded soldier in Long Hoa commune, Dau Tieng District.
On behalf of the provincial delegation, Nguyen Minh Thuy graciously inquired after the policy families, and expressed her feelings and gratitude to the great contributions of policy people to the cause of national defense. She also hoped that families of war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution in Dau Tieng District continue to overcome difficulties, contribute to building the homeland, building a civilized, prosperous and beautiful Binh Duong province.
On July 20, Provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs collaborated with the Provincial Lottery Company, and Thu Dau Mot City, Thuan An City to present gratitude houses to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the areas.
In Thu Dau Mot City, a gratitude house was presented to Lam Thi Mai, a daughter of martyr, resides in quarter 5 of Phu Tho ward. The house has a construction area of more than 20m2, with a total cost of more than 100 million VND financed by Provincial Lottery Company.
In Thuan An, a house was given to Nguyen Van Tuong, a wounded soldier residing in Vinh Phu ward. The house has a construction area of more than 50m2, with a total construction cost of 110 million VND. In particular, Provincial Lottery Company supported VND 100 million.
In recent days, the Provincial Department of Labor, Labor and Social Affairs has coordinated with departments, unions and localities to perform more gratitude activities. This was one of the activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, in order to pay tribute to families of war invalids and sick soldiers, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life for those with meritorious services.
