Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs celebrates 15th anniversary

On the afternoon of September 29, provincial Department of Foreign Affairs held a ceremony to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its establishment.

The event was attended by Pham Van Chanh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education; Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Pernament Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

Over the past 15 years, provincial Department of Foreign Affairs gradually matured, becoming more and more stable in political stance, dynamic, professional and efficient in advising provincial Party Committee and People's Committee in the implementation of the programs of external activities, effectively contributing to the local socio-economic development, becoming a dynamic bridge between Binh Duong and international friends. In addition, provincial Department of Foreign Affairs was proactive to coordinate with functional sectors and enterprises to organize many seminars on investment promotion at potential markets, namely the United States, Japan, Korea, Singapore, European countries…

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dung said that provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee believe that provincial Department of Foreign Affairs will fulfill the assigned tasks well, continue working with other departments and sectors to implement foreign affairs successfully; jointly create and promote the image of a dynamic, creative Binh Duong smart city full of potential, development prospects in the eyes of international friends.

On this occasion, provincial Department of Foreign Affairs was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the Prime Minister and the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for outstanding achievements in diplomatic work. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs awarded the certificates of merit to provincial Department of Foreign Affairs. Provincial People's Committee also awarded the certificates of merit to 1 collective and 3 individuals for their outstanding achievements in diplomatic work.
