Provincial Farmers Society earmarks nearly VND10bil to support farmers’ production development

In 2012, the society at all levels admitted nearly 4,000 members, totaling its members up to over 58,000. The entire province is home to over 37,000 membership households, winning the title of good farmers in production and business.

In this year, the society at all levels has mobilized over VND2bil for the supportive fund for farmers. Based on the mobilized money plus assistance from the central and provincial authorities, the society at all levels have offered nearly VND10bil for over 1,400 membership households to invest in 52 projects of livestock, cultivation and service…

In addition, the society at all levels has cooperated with functional agencies, companies to hold thousands of training classes, seminars and so on with the participation of over 52,000 members.

The society will in 2013 strive to reach at least 65% of members registering to win the title of good farmers in production and business, to spur cooperation on technical transfer for farmers and work positively with units to help farmers approach capital sources…
