Provincial Farmers' Union establishes 4 new cooperatives, 28 agricultural cooperative groups

To realize the emulation movement of good farmers in production and business, farmers uniting helping each other improve lives and reduce poverty sustainably, from the beginning of this year, Farmers' Unions at all levels have established 24 professional farmer branches and associations; established 4 new cooperatives, 28 agricultural cooperative groups, 3 showrooms to display, introduce, buy and sell products of the agricultural cooperatives.

Up to now, the province has 86 professional farmer branches and associations with more than 1,450 members, 69 cooperatives, 297 cooperative groups. Besides, Farmers' Unions at all levels in the province helped 55 farmer households get out of poverty; deferred sale of agricultural materials, fertilizers, and animal feed to 96 poor and disadvantaged farmers, helping members stabilize their lives.
