On June 27, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee's 8th congress, 2014-2019 tenure entered the second working day with the participation of the provincial party committee secretary cum the provincial National Assembly delegation head Mai The Trung, Central Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee vice chairwoman Ha Thi Lien and leaders of provincial party committee, People's Council and Committee, departments, agencies, sectors, heroic mothers and provincial leaders through various stages and so on. Based on result reports of implementing the 7th congress' action plans (2009-2014 term) and draft action plans of the 8th congress (2014-2019 tenure) showed that over the past 5 years, under the leadership of the Party, authority at all levels and united solidarity of Vietnam Fatherland Front, people, laborers, intellectuals and armed forces and among others, the locality overcomes difficulties, challenges and excels tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security, contributing to the country's common victory. Fatherland Front at all levels constantly disseminate the Party's instructions, the State's policies and laws, especially the great national unity and mobilize people from walks of life to execute the mobilization of "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral examples". Moreover, Fatherland Front at all levels focus on mobilizing people to join in the patriotic emulation movements, contributing to develop economy, poverty reduction, build an advanced culture deeply imbued with national identity, take care of the cause of education and training, especially improve quality of the "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" movement, "Day for the poor" mobilization and "Gratitude repayment" movement. The congress also set out goals of renovating contents and operational forms of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and membership organizations, reinforcing, expanding the great national unity bloc in the province, accelerating patriotic emulation movements and bounding for effectively implementing movements of "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", "Day for the poor" and "Vietnamese give priorities to using Vietnamese goods", contributing to excel the local tasks of national defense and security and socio-economic development, promoting people's mastership right, well implementing role of representing and protecting people's legitimate rights and interests. In addition, the congress targeted to improve efficiency of inspection and social feedback, positively join in building the Party, authority and political system transparently and strongly, constantly build and reinforce organizations, improve operational efficiency of Fatherland Front Committee at all levels, excellently finalize task of gathering and building the great national unity bloc in the new period and task. Addressing the congress, the provincial party committee secretary cum the provincial National Assembly delegation head Mai The Trung applauded achievements done by the provincial Fatherland Front Committee at all levels and noted that the provincial Fatherland Front Committee should assess rightly shortcomings and objective and subjective reasons to renovate operational forms as well as to cooperate effectively with agencies, unions in a bid to bring high results in the new tenure of 2014-2019. On this occasion, the provincial party committee executive commission granted a flag of honor with the message "Promoting the great national unity strength, improving role and position of Vietnam Fatherland Front, developing Binh Duong into a civilized and modern city" to the provincial Fatherland Front Committee's 8th congress (2014-2019 term). Furthermore, the congress selected 93 members for the 2014-2019 term provincial Fatherland Front Committee, nominated 8 official deputies and 2 alternate ones to attend in the national Fatherland Front Committee's 8th congress (2014-2019 term).
