Provincial Former Youth Volunteers Association holds its 2013 open Executive Board conference

The Executive Board of the provincial Former Youth Volunteers Association held its open conference to look back on its activities in 2013 and define orientations for 2014 on the morning of December 25.

In 2013, provincial Former Youth Volunteers Association teamed up with relevant agencies to deal with 87 documents relating to the State’s allowances. The association also presented saving books of “Dau an tuoi xuan” (Hallmark of youth) to members; built and handed over 3 houses of “Sentimental attachment to comrade” to members with difficult circumstances; provided relief aid to flood victims in the central region; mobilized VND37.mln for Quang Binh provincial Former Youth Volunteers Association to build a house of “Sentimental attachment to comrade”  for a veteran hit by the 10th storm…

The conference also approved the association’s orientations for 2014, including dealing with allowance policies for members; further consolidating executive boards at all levels; checking and offering timely help to members in need of housing; making plans to prepare Tet gifts for needy members; organizing periodic meetings…
