In 2023, provincial General Hospital organized 37 remote medical examination and treatment sessions with 755 attendees. The hospital implemented forms of remote medical examination and treatment, including organizing remote medical record consultation, reporting remote clinical consultation cases, updating new professional knowledge and techniques; updating remote diagnosis and treatment...with large, higher-level hospitals like Hanoi Medical University Hospital, Tu Du Hospital, Cho Ray Hospital, Thong Nhat Hospital, Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Central Oral and Maxillofacial Hospital.

Connecting remote medical examination and treatment has brought many practical benefits to medical staff and doctors, especially patients. As a result, many complicated cases were successfully operated at the local medical facilities from higher-level doctors’ remote consultations without having to be transferred to higher-level hospitals for treatment.
