Provincial industrial production index in January increases by 27.8% over the same period

 According to Provincial Statistics Office, in January 2024 provincial industrial production index increased quite high compared to the same period in 2023. Namely, the production index of the entire industrial sector in January 2024 is estimated to decrease by 0.7% over the previous month and increase by 27.8% over the same period last year. Of which, the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 27.2% year-on-year. Some industries had high IIPs, such as: food processing production increased by 27%; garments increased by 17.7%; leather and related products increased by 16.4%; printing and copying records of all types increased by 49.1%; chemicals and chemical products increased by 60%; drugs, pharmaceutical chemicals and medicinal materials increased by 68%; prefabricated metal products increased by 29.1%; electronic products, computers and optical products increased by 6.1%; electrical equipment increased by 55.7%; motor vehicles increased by 81.61%; beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs increased by 60.9%...

Currently, key export products, such as wood products, textiles and garments, leather shoes, computers, electronic products and components etc. are making good use of signed trade agreements to expand international trade and new export markets. Many enterprises have promoted online sales through online platforms globally, along with many key solutions deployed synchronously and aggressively in the province, expected to support production and business activities achieving signs of improvement in 2024.
