Provincial IOC and provincial Party Committee’s e-portal make debut

Early April 19, a ceremony to announce provincial Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) and provincial Party Committee's e-portal took place at provincial Integrated Administration Center.

The event was attended by Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; Nguyen Hong Son, Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Economics; representatives of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Science and Technology. For the province, there were Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Pham Van Chanh, member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; members of provincial Party Standing Committee; Vice-Chairpersons of provincial People's Committee; representatives of departments, sectors and enterprises.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Minh said that the pilot formation and operation of provincial IOC and provincial Party Committee's e-portal are a step in inheriting results achieved in the construction of e-government and IT application of Party and State agencies over the past periods, marking a new development step in the process of digital transformation, building a sustainable smart city in the province. The construction and completion of the IOC is a complicated, long-term process in association with the digital transformation process, requiring the active participation of the entire political system, people and enterprises. For provincial IOC and provincial Party Committee's e-portal operating effectively, he suggested relevant agencies and units from provincial to grassroots levels to focus on implementing digital transformation tasks at management requirements; accelerate the construction of information systems into specialized databases as a foundation for forecasting, processing big data for socio-economic management. Provincial Party Committee's e-portal editorial board needs to quickly, opportunely and accurately provide information for management advice, direct the operation and development of integrated IT service applications on the portal. Provincial press agencies need to promote dissemination of information about the IOC and the e-portal so that cadres, civil servants, employees, enterprises and people know and participate in using them.

At the ceremony, representative of provincial Department of Home Affairs announced the establishment of provincial IOC. After the ceremony, delegates visited the IOC and provincial Party Committee's e-portal.
