Provincial Labor Confederation meets and exceeds most set targets and plans

On November 27, Binh Duong Provincial Labor Confederation held a conference to summarize trade union activities in 2023 and set up key tasks in 2024. Attending the conference was Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee.

In 2023, Provincial Labor Confederation directed trade unions at all levels to well implement key tasks, closely follow the program "developing union membership, establishing grassroots trade unions". Most of the proposed targets and plans were met and exceeded. Trade unions at all levels promoted their role in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers... In addition to consulting and protecting the rights of union members and employees at all trade union levels, Trade Union Legal Consulting Center receives authorization and initiates lawsuits related to acts of unilateral contract termination violating the law and sue businesses for social insurance debt...

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Nhan recognized the results achieved by trade unions at all levels. He recommended that in addition to annual tasks, trade unions at all levels need to focus on dialogue within businesses, regularly organizing dialogue conferences between provincial and industry leaders and grassroots trade union officials. Besides, it is necessary to pay attention to groups of targets and breakthroughs set out by the 11th Provincial Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term.
