Provincial Labor Union supports VND1.2bln for fishing trade unions, fisheries surveillance forces in central region

Particularly, the delegation supported VND300mln for Quang Ngai province’s fishing trade unions. The delegation also visited and donated gifts to fishermen and fishing trade unions in Phu Yen, Quang Nam, Da Nang city and the Fisheries Surveillance team No.3 under Fisheries Surveillance sub-department Zone 2 in Da Nang city.

On behalf of 7 fishing trade unions supported, Ho Thanh Hua, from Binh Minh commune’s fishing trade union in Quang Nam province’s Thang Binh district thanked Binh Duong provincial Labor Union for the above donation, helping fishermen in the central provinces further keep fishing amid sea.

Bui Thanh Nhan, Vice-Chairman of provincial Labor Union said that this was part of the “Sentimental attachment to Truong Sa and Hoang Sa” program launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to join hands in protecting the national sovereignty over sea and islands.
