Provincial leader receives Siheung city’s delegation

 *Agreement on establishment of  friendship and  relationship between TDM and Siheung cities inked

On January 22, a delegation from Siheung city in South Korea’s Gyeonggi Province, led by Lim Byeong Taek, Mayor of Siheung city,  paid a courtesy visit to  provincial leaders.Vo Van Minh, Vice- Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee received the delegation.

At the reception, Mr. Minh said that as of now, Binh Duong province has established bilateral cooperative relationships with 13 foreign provinces and cities, including South Korea’s Daejeon city. At the district level, Ben Cat town has signed a cooperation agreement with Busan city’s Yeongdo district in South Korea.

Provincial People's Committee Chairman hopes that in the coming time, the two sides will regularly meet and share experience in management of the local government, and enhance cultural and sports exchanges to tighten the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two localities while being determined to set up a friendly cooperative relationship and join hands in promoting each side’s socio-economic development for the regional and national development.

Mr. Lim Byeong Taek assessed that over the past time, the cooperative relationship between Binh Duong province and localities in the province with localities in South Korea has become stronger, with many practical activities. Besides, South Korean enterprises investing in Binh Duong are always supported and created favorable conditions by the local government...

*On the afternoon of the same day, TDM and Siheung cities also signed a memorandum of understanding on establishing friendly cooperative relations on  the equal and win-win principles.
