Provincial leader receives Singaporean Ambassador

Early December 12, Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received Catherine Wong Siow, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Singapore to Vietnam (photo).

At the reception, Mr.Hung informed Mrs.Catherin Wong Siow of Binh Duong’s admission into the World Technopolis Association (WTA) while being the first locality of Vietnam becoming a member of the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) and being named in the Smart21. The province also successfully hosted two international events, including the celebration of the 20^th anniversary of the WTA and the Horasis meeting 2018. Among 64 countries and territories making investment in the province, Singapore now ranks third with more than 230 projects capitalized more than US$4.1billion…

Mrs.Catherin Wong Siow also congratulated Binh Duong on its achievements and said that Binh Duong has been highly appreciated in the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) with a friendly and prospective investment climate. She also expressed her delight at the robust growth of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP), an important symbol in economic cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore while affirming that she will introduce potential Singaporean enterprises to Binh Duong.
