Provincial leader receives VAA

On the afternoon of August 25, Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee received and worked with the Vietnam Association of Architects (VAA), led by Dr. Architect Phan Dang Son, Chairman of the VAA at provincial Integated Administration Center.

At the working session, Mr.Son discussed and proposed a number of issues such as researching to develop the local architecture with identity; implementing regulations on the local architecture management, strengthening the management of architectural competition; reviewing architectural practice...

For his part, Mr. Ha thanked the delegation for visiting and sharing much good experience with the province while acknowledging important contributions by the association. For proposals by the association, the province will direct relevant units to effectively realize them, especially the Law on Architecture, related resolutions and decrees.

He also suggested the VAA to pay attention to coordinating with the Ministry of Construction to guide the province in building the local architectural management database; participate in guiding and advising the province on urban development planning as well as allocating competent and dedicated architects to the province; strengthen seminars, training courses and conferences in the province and other localities in the region, creating conditions for managerial officials to be aware of the importance of the field of architecture.. .
