Early August 14, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee worked with members of Japan’s SHARP Corporation.
SHARP is one of Japan’s leading corporations in manufacturing camera modules, medical equipment, TVs and display panels. It is also the investor of Saigon Stec Company operating at province-based VSIP for ten years. Hashimoto Yoshihiro, CEO of SHARP Corporation said that the success of Saigon Stec Company came from the local favorable investment climate. He added that the corporation is expected to build another factory in the province. The factory has a total investment of US$300million with 8,000-10,000 laborers and is expected to be put into operation in July, 2019. He wanted that provincial People’s Committee will create favorable conditions for the factory to be operational in the soonest time.
Addressing the event, Mr.Liem said that the province has always created advantageous conditions for enterprises to work effectively. And the project of SHARP Corporation was very welcomed.
