Provincial leaders paid gift visit to Khmer ethnic people on Chol Chnam Thmay

On April 13, provincial delegation, led by Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to Khmer ethnic people in Dau Tieng district’s Minh Thanh commune and at Tong Kim Quang pagoda in Phu Giao district’s An Binh commune on the occasion of Chol Chnam Thmay, the traditional New Year festival of the Khmer ethnic people.

Mr. Ha said that provincial leaders have always paid attention to and taken care of the lives of poor people during the local development process. On the occasion of this year's Chol Chnam Thmay festival, he wished all Khmer ethnic people a happy and peaceful festival. He also asked for the district and commune’s authorities to regularly pay attention to the lives of people via practical support activities, helping them get a prosperous, happy and life.

On this occasion, the delegation presented meaningful gifts worth VND1million to Khmer ethnic families with meritorious services, poor and near-poor households; gave a gift to representative of Tong Kim Quang pagoda as congratulation for the Chol Chnam Thmay festival.
