Provincial leaders receive Cambodian Ministry of Ceremonies and Religions’ delegation.
Morning 6 Dec, Cambodian Ministry of Rituals and Religions’ delegation led by Khenh Hang Huon, Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Ceremonies and Religion of Cambodia, visited Binh Duong province. Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, received and worked with the delegation.
Mr. Hung said that Binh Duong was one of the provinces with large numbers of religious follower, such as Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodaism, Islamism and Hoa Hao Buddhism, with a total of 312 religious establishments, 278 worship facilities. Provincial authorities and localities always pay attention to and create conditions for timely settlement of legitimate religious needs, thus creating a harmony between all religions in the province. Religions in the province well observe guidelines, policies and laws of the Party and the State; actively participate in social charity activities, contributing to socio-economic development and national defense and security in the province. He also emphasized the good relationship between Binh Duong and some localities of Cambodia, and hoped the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia, Binh Duong Province and localities of Cambodia would be better and more developed.
Khenh Hang Huon expressed his great impression and congratulated the comprehensive socio-economic development of Binh Duong province, and hoped that Binh Duong and other localities in Cambodia would continue to unite, learn each other, cooperate in many fields, including religion. During this visit, the delegation came to some provinces of Vietnam to learnt experiences in the state management of religion.
