Provincial leaders receive delegation of FrieslandCampina Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Early February 16, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee had a meeting with FrieslandCampina Company’s delegation. The event was attended by leaders of departments, sectors in the province; Berend Van Wel, General Director of FrieslandCampina Vietnam Co., Ltd., who has just finished his term of office and Richard Kiger, the new General Director of the company.

At the reception, Mr.Thao highly appreciated cooperation between Binh Duong and FrieslandCampina Vietnam Co., Ltd. during the past time, especially when Mr. Berend Van Wel worked as CEO of the company. The effectiveness of the cooperation was shown obviously in the fields of Binh Duong smart city construction, efficient production and business of the company in Binh Duong and promotion of the cooperation relationship between Binh Duong and the Netherlands in many aspects. He respected contributions by FrieslandCampina Vietnam and Mr. Berend Van Wel in particular in the local development process. He also wanted that the new General Director of the company will continue having cohesion and meeting to develop the relationship to a new height based on existing foundations. Mr. Berend Van Wel also thanked Binh Duong’s authorities for creating the most favorable conditions for the company's development over the past time. During his tenure in Binh Duong, he deeply appreciated the feelings, cohesion and strategic vision of provincial leaders while bringing with him precious feelings about the land and the people of Binh Duong after his term ended.
