Provincial leaders receive Japan’s Tokyu Group and work with Vietnam Capitaland Development Group

On the afternoon of January 10, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation and Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee received and worked with leader of Japan’s Tokyu Group.

2023 marks the 10-year journey of Tokyu Group investing in Binh Duong. In this journey, the corporation has always received the attention and support of the local authorities and achieved many memorable imprints. Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Loi wanted Tokyu Group to further promote investment activities in the province. In 2023 alone, it is hoped that the group will complete the goal of starting construction of 10 buildings in Binh Duong new city, contributing to creating a modern urban appearance. He pledged that the province will create all favorable conditions for Tokyu Group to develop more strongly in Vietnam.

Mr. Takahashi Kazuo, General Director of Tokyu Group expressed his emotion at the cordial affection of provincial leaders. He believed that the good relationship between the group and the province will become stronger and stronger.

*On the morning of the same day, Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee received Ronald Tay, General Director of Vietnam Capitaland Development Group.

At the reception, Mr. Ronald Tay said that in December 2021, Singapore’s Capitaland Development Group signed a cooperation agreement with Becamex IDC on the Binh Duong smart city development project with total investment of more than US$ 500 million. The project focuses on developing housing blocks with a total area of ​​18.9 hectares. It is expected that more than 3,700 apartments and long-term houses will be built, meeting the needs of about 13,000 residents. He thanked provincial leaders for their support in the implementation of the project over the past time while wanting leaders of provincial departments, agencies and sectors to further support to soon complete legal procedures in order to start construction of the project.

Mr. Minh asked for Becamex IDC to coordinate with departments, agencies and sectors to remove obstacles in order to soon start construction of the project as proposed by the group.
