Provincial leaders receive Kandal’s delegation

On the afternoon of January 12, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation worked with a delegation of Cambodia’s Kandal province, led by Dr. Mao Phirun, member of Cambodian People's Party Central Committee, Secretary of Kandal provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Kandal provincial Council. The event was also attended by Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; representatives of departments, agencies and sectors in the province.

At the reception, the two sides briefly introduced the socio-economic situation of the two localities; advantages and disadvantages during the local development process. Speaking at the reception, Mr. Loi expressed his pleasure to welcome Kandal province’s delegation on the occasion of the upcoming Tet festival. He expressed: The two countries went through a difficult period after two years of fighting the pandemic. But in general, the two provinces still reached stable growth with people's lives improved. In 2023, Binh Duong will focus on investing in traffic infrastructure and highways; attach special importance to  roads connecting border gates with Cambodia, creating all conditions for the economies of Vietnam and Cambodia to develop together. He also wanted the relationship between the two localities to  become more intimate, deeper and more durable.

Mr. Mao Phirun thanked provincial leaders for their warm welcome while wishing provincial Party Committee Secretary, representatives of provincial departments, agencies and their families a warm and happy Tet. He also invited leaders of Binh Duong province to Kandal province and wished the two provinces the "forever green, eternally sustainable" relationship
