Provincial leaders visit, congratulate two world petanque champions

On the afternoon of December 8, a delegation of provincial leaders, led by Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee, visited and congratulated 2 athletes, namely Trinh Thi Kim Thanh and Tran Thi Diem Trang who have just won the championship title of the world petanque tournament in Thailand.

At the visit, Mr. Ha praised and encouraged the two athletes to further study and practice to get higher achievements for themselves, bringing glory to the petanque teams of Vietnam in general and Binh Duong province in particular. It is expected that in the coming time, the two athletes will further research, learn and develop their full potential to achieve higher achievements. He also asked for provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to continue creating conditions for them to promote their talent, contributing to the national and local sports sector.

On this occasion, provincial leaders gave flowers and gifts for two athletes Trinh Thi Kim Thanh and Tran Thi Diem Trang.
