Provincial leaders welcome delegations visiting and extending Tet greetings

On January 20, a delegation from the Naval Region 3 Command, led by Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the region, visited and extended Tet greetings to the Party Committee, army and people of Binh Duong province. Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Council; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda-Education Commission and Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee received the delegation.

On behalf of the Naval Region 3 Command, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien highlighted the unit’s outstanding achievements in 2024, including fulfilling tasks assigned by the Party, State, Ministry of National Defense and Naval Command. The unit also actively supported fishermen and effectively carried out search and rescue missions. On the occasion of the 2025 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien extended best wishes for health and success to provincial leaders, officials and people of Binh Duong, hoping the province would achieve further victories in all fields.

At the meeting, Mr. Loc conveyed New Year wishes to officers and soldiers of Naval Region 3 Command, wishing them good health, happiness and success in fulfilling their 2025 missions. He affirmed that Binh Duong province would further support and pay attention to officers, soldiers and people of the Naval Region 3.

*On the same day, a delegation from Naval Region 5 Command, led by Colonel Hoang Quoc Hoan, Deputy Political Commissar, visited and extended Tet greetings to Binh Duong province. Colonel Hoang Quoc Hoan extended his Tet greetings, wishing health and success to the Party Committee, army and people of Binh Duong. He also acknowledged contributions by Binh Duong province to the achievements of the Naval Region 5 over the past year. Mr. Loc expressed his gratitude to the Party Committee of the Naval Region 5 Command for their attention and Tet greetings. He also wished officers and soldiers of the unit good health, happiness and success in all their missions.

*Also on January 20, a delegation from Kratie province, Kingdom of Cambodia, led by Deputy Provincial Governor Duong Pov, visited and extended Tet greetings to the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Duong province. The delegation was received by Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

During the visit, Deputy Governor Duong Pov conveyed his best wishes for health, prosperity and success to leaders of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and people. He expressed gratitude for the longstanding support and goodwill from Binh Duong toward Kratie province.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Thanh thanked Mr. Duong Pov and his delegation for visiting Binh Duong during Vietnam’s traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) festival. Leaders from both provinces expressed their hope for further collaboration and cultural exchanges to strengthen the traditional friendship and promote mutual development between Binh Duong and Kratie in the future.
