Provincial leaders welcome South Korea’s police delegation

Early May 13, Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation  received a delegation of Deajeon city’s Police Agency in South Korea, led by Hwang Un Ha, Director of the city’s Police Agency.

At the reception, Mr.Nam expressed his delight at the delegation’s visit while briefly informing the delegation of the local socio-economic development, national defence-security over the past time. It is known that Binh Duong was twinned with Deajeon in 2005. Accordingly, the two sides have regularly had exchange activities in the fields of education, culture, economy…Provincial leaders have always supported the relationship between police forces of the two sides, boosting effectiveness in the fight against crimes.

For his part, Mr.Hwang  Un Ha was delightful at socio-economic achievements done by Binh Duong. He also said that the delegation’s visit aimed to sign a cooperative agreement with provincial Police Agency for mutual support in maintaining political security…

*On the afternoon of the same day, the delegation had a working session with provincial Police Agency’s Directorate and Department of Foreign Affairs, in attendance of Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

At the working session, Colonel Trinh Ngoc Quyen, Director of provincial Police Agency informed the delegation of the local security-order situation over the past time. Whilst, Mr.Hwang Un Ha gave information about protective policies for Vietnamese people living and working in South Korea.

The two sides also exchanged experience in the issues of crime prevention in the new context and road traffic; signed a memorandum of understanding on mutual support.
