Provincial leather - footwear industry is recovering and enhancing

This was affirmed by Binh Duong Footwear - Leather Association (LFA) in export and operation report within the first 6 months of 2013. Accordingly, business activities of this industry has many advantages, because key export markets like USA and EU is recovering strongly, purchasing power is booming compared to last year. Additionally, Japanese market is expanding considerably. Therefore, in spite of increasing prices of materials, provincial businesses have signed many important export contracts, namely, footwear companies of An Thinh, Chi Hung, Lien Phat, etc. have export contracts until October 2013; especially, companies like Nam Binh, Dong Hung, etc. have received orders until the end of this year.During the first 6 months, sport footwear outcome of provincial businesses achieved 18.3 mln of pair of shoes, increased by 33.9% compared to the last year. Agreement of strategic partner across Pacific with advantageous clauses creates more chances for footwear - leather companies in Binh Duong province to enhance U.S., Japanese market.
