Provincial-level excellent Party cell Secretary contest 2024 kicks off

Early October 10th, provincial Party Committee held the opening ceremony of the provincial-level excellent Party cell Secretary contest 2024 at provincial School of Politics. Comrade Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee attended and directed the event. The contest features 73 outstanding contestants, selected from previous contests at the grassroots and higher levels.

In her opening speech, comrade Nguyen Minh Thuy, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission and Head of the contest’s Organization Board stated that the contest aimed at providing an opportunity for Party Committee members and Party Cell Secretaries to enhance their knowledge, skills and practical experience, in preparation for the grassroots Party Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure. This was also an occasion for Party Cell Secretaries to affirm their leadership capabilities and share experience, contributing to improving their leadership, management skills and effectively carrying out their assigned responsibilities. Furthermore, the contest aimed at identifying solutions to improve the leadership and operational efficiency of Party Cell Secretaries and Party Committee members at the grassroots level while also discovering and nurturing talented Party members and Secretaries with potential for leadership roles in the future.

Speaking at the event, comrade Nguyen Hoang Thao emphasized that the 2024 contest was a significant political activity of the entire provincial Party organization. It aimed at raising awareness and responsibility among Party Committees, organizations, cadres, Party members and the public about the leadership role and functions of Party cells.

To ensure the contest’s success, he urged the judging panel to maintain fairness, objectivity and accuracy, highlighting innovation and creativity in practical Party cell activities, accurately reflecting the exam results of candidates. Contestants must comply with rules issued by the contest’s Organization Board. Provincial Party Committee Permanent Vice Secretary also sent wishes to contestants participating in the contest to be calm and confident in completing the contests’ contents in the spirit of everyone winning.
