Meanwhile, Tan Uyen Town Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said that so far the town had taken test samples for over 2.6 million people. The rate of infected people in the town is now less than 1%. There are many neighborhoods with no new cases detected. Up to now, Tan Uyen Town has reached the rate of 100.41% of the population aged 18 and over (except for cases of contraindications) who received at least one Covid-19 jab. Doan Hong Tuoi, Chairman of the town People's Committee, said that the sampling and testing was carried out according to a plan and showed that the number of infection cases was decreasing. In particular, the town continued to thoroughly apply the approach "four-on-the-spot" to promptly respond to a new outbreak in the "new normal" state. As of Sep 15, the town has established 6 "green zones" including communes and wards: Thanh Phuoc, Vinh Tan, Phu Chanh, Bach Dang, Thanh Hoi, Tan Vinh Hiep; identified 1 "yellow zone" in Uyen Hung ward, 3 "orange zones" in wards: Thai Hoa, Tan Phuoc Khanh, Khanh Binh; and 2 "red zones" in Tan Hiep, Hoi Nghia wards.

To return to the “new normal”

According to the schedule, after Sep 20, Thuan An city will loosen the social distancing order at green localities. Accordingly, people have had at least one Covid-19 jab for at least 14 days, recovered F0s with a hospital certificate are allowed to commute from 5 am to 20 pm between "green areas" in the city, strictly comply with “5K” and must carry a certificate or a proof on the electronic health book. The "green zones" are allowed to reopen some essential business activities and industries, such as supermarkets, shopping centers, convenience stores, and stationery. Particularly, food and drink services are allowed for take-away products. In particular, people in "green zones" are allowed to do outdoor sports activities, but not gather more than 10 people, strictly comply with the "5K". "Red spots", "red zones" need to continue strictly implementing social distancing according to Directive 16 of the Prime Minister. The business of essential goods in "red zones", "red spots" is allowed to open through online sales, not direct sales; continue to close non-essential business establishments, services, cultural and entertainment activities, festivals, launching ceremonies, parks, religious and belief activities... In addition, the city's Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control also asked "red zones" and "red spots" to turn green by Sep 20.

Doctor Huynh Minh Chin, Director of Medical Center of Tan Uyen Town, said that following the direction of the town's Covid-19 Steering Committee, health branch is assembling resources to drastically carry out mass testing to separate F0s from the community for treatment, especially in lodging houses with a large number of workers. It is expected that by Sep 22, the town will complete the mass testing.

Disease prevention and control in the new situation continues to be drastically performed by the health authority of Tan Uyen Town without being subjective and negligent. In particular, the health branch guided people through how to take samples for testing at home, maintain measures to monitor the disease situation in the community, and promptly detect outbreaks to localize and control, stamp the disease, to prevent the disease from spreading widely in the area.

For businesses implementing the "three-on-site" approach, when detecting a suspected case, the town will immediately conduct zoning in the factory, test to remove F0s and take out for treatment, avoiding the spread of virus in the business. “In particular, we have established and put into operation 2 mobile medical stations for businesses. It is expected that from now until the end of Oct, nine more stations will be established to help the management and monitoring of suspected Covid-19 patients at enterprises; implement plans for disease prevention and control when there are infection cases; carry out Covid-19 testing and vaccination…”, said Dr. Huynh Minh Chin.

Up to now, the whole province has 6/9 districts, towns and cities of "green zones", accounting for 66.6% of the area, including: North Tan Uyen, Phu Giao, Bau Bang, Dau Tieng, Thu Dau Mot City, and Ben Cat Town. The Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control asked "red zones" to continue strictly implementing Directive 16 of the Prime Minister, ensure the social distance between people, households, and neighborhoods. To "green zones", as loosening the implementation of social distancing, it is necessary to be cautious, step-by-step and synchronous, and ensure safety; regularly analyze, evaluate and update the situation, not to be negligent, subjective, or off guard.
