On July 27, Dau Tieng district held a meeting to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022).
Over the past time, mobilized resources have helped the district to well implement gratitude activities, such as: Building houses of gratitude, taking care of Vietnamese heroic mothers, taking care of and supporting families of war invalids, martyrs and people with meritorious services to the country, supporting preferential loans for policy beneficiaries... Thereby contributing to creating favorable conditions for policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services in the district to have a stable life. Up to now, in the district, above-average policy households accounted for 6.1%, average policy households 24.97%, below-average policy households 66.16%, poor policy households 2.77%.
At the meeting, leaders of Dau Tieng district gave flowers and gifts to six Vietnamese heroic mothers, wounded soldiers and people with meritorious services.
l On the same day, Bau Bang district solemnly held a meeting to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day. Bau Bang district has 107 Vietnamese heroic mothers, 2 are still alive, and 568 martyrs recognized by the State and having "Fatherland's merit". The preferential policy for people with meritorious services has been applied well to take care of 1,439 people of this group in the whole district. In the period 2017-2021, the whole district built 7 gratitude houses with a total cost of 620 million VND, repaired 21 gratitude houses with a total cost of 920 million VND, donated to wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and martyr’s families.
l In Di An city, on July 27, the city's Women Soldiers' Union in collaboration with the city's Women's Union organized a gratitude program for heroic martyrs, Vietnamese heroic mothers, and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
On this occasion, People's Committee of Thuan An city praised 18 collectives and 8 individuals for their contributions to gratitude activities of the city. Thai Binh Investment Joint Stock Company presented 290 million VND to the city's Women Soldiers' Union.
